Directions – how to get here
- By car: Enter the following address into your sat-nav: Gästehaus Wedework, Dorfstraße 9, 30900 Wedemark (Meitze district).
– Coming from the north (Hamburg/Bremen): Follow the A7 towards Hannover and leave the motorway at junction 52, “Mellendorf”. At the junction, turn right towards Mellendorf/Wedemark and follow the signs to Meitze (approx. 5 km). In the village centre, take Dorfstraße – you will find our guesthouse at number 9.
– Coming from the south (Hanover/Göttingen/Kassel): Take the A7 towards Hamburg and take junction 52 “Mellendorf”. At the exit, keep left towards Mellendorf and follow the signs to Meitze. After a few minutes, you will reach Dorfstraße 9.
– Coming from the east/west (Berlin/Dortmund): Take the A2 and change to the A7 towards Hamburg at the Hannover-Ost or Hannover-Kirchhorst motorway junction. Then follow the route described above via the Mellendorf exit. - By bus and train: The nearest S-Bahn and regional train station is in Mellendorf (public transport timetable information) and is approximately 4 km away. From Mellendorf station, you can use the app Sprinti to call an on-demand bus that will take you directly to us. Alternatively, you can book a taxi via Autoruf Wedemark (+49 5130 3637), or book a ride to us via the Uber app.
- By plane: Hannover-Langenhagen Airport is around 17 kilometres away, about 15 to 20 minutes by car. From the airport, take the S5 S-Bahn line to Hannover Central Station. There, change to the S4 line towards Bennemühlen and travel to Mellendorf station. From Mellendorf, you can use the Sprinti app to call an on-demand bus that will take you directly to us. Alternatively, you can book a taxi via Autoruf Wedemark (+49 5130 3637) or book a ride to us via the Uber app.
